I have been working on this new one the past days and I am kind of divided between whether I should keep it like this or make a background. I was thinking to do the background ice blue like her shirt with the ice crystals like the one she is holding. Just a few of them I think.However, I kind of like how it is now too, with the white space around her, which was what I was originally going for. Maybe it would add something good to it if I add the background and perhaps make it more special? Or maybe it will take away from the simplicity...
Please give me your opinion, as I simply can't make up my mind and it's a bit frustrating. I usually always know where I am going with my drawings.
The drawing is done mostly from imagination, something might be slightly off here and there.
She's made with colour pencils.

You knw.. i look at all ur drawings tht u submit & i am amazed by every one of them. u draw so wonderfly. I cnt even begin to imagine where u begin & the detail u put into ur pictures just blows my mind. You are extremely talented & u shud deffinatly keep doing wat ur doing. Great work

Whenever I don't know whether to leave a drawing as it is or add more, I use photoshop. Like that you can quickly put some color in the background and see if it fits.
The drawing is already amazing. I love the gothic eye-makeup in combination with the white shirt and her sweet expression

I have often done that, it's just a little hard with this one seeing it will have snowflakes. I think I will leave it like this at least for now untill I can't resist doing the background

i like the plain background.. it makes her look like a feature... however, i think that a sot
ft coloured background would look terrific aswell
I love this piece of work! Can I ask what coloured pencils you used for her skin?? I love this.. it reminds me of a pic out of a story book

I like it as is. If you want to do something with it, I definitely wouldn't color the background...maybe just a few snowflakes of varied sizes in the corners or something. But again, I think it's fine as is.
