Every so often i get a figure where im left saying “how am I going to photograph this?”(but actually im just no good at taking picture, really). sure, the word part of the review is easy, but the pictures? this Rathalos (from 2009, i suppose) is a magnificent figure, i DONT know whether it was meant to be “in scale” with S.H.MonterArts 6-7 inch figures or no, but with a 22" wingspan and at 7.5" tall. wow. well you might need a special room just to have room to take pictures of him( as for me, i just placed him on my sofa as always, though.) i don’t have a display area big enough in my room for him right now.

This guy is not a SHMA actually. (I'd say a prototype of the SHMA's engineering ) and an incredibly sculpted/articulated figure.

I did already some modifications on his face to fit it to the original as seen in the game.
A major downside, however, is deterioration of the latex wings. mine needed some TLC in the wings, which had rifts due to deterioration over time.

Still I'd say this is a once-in-a-lifetime kind of figure that you have to get. Not many of these large monsters come out and when they do, you have buy them. even though ive parted with a few figures of my collection a long time ago, this one remains. It’s a beautiful part of my figure collection
