Description Just finishedΒ  this illustration I've been working on of Peridot from Steven Universe (who first appeared in Warp Tour), & I have to say this turned out a lot better than I thought it would. The background is done in watercolor, while Peridot herself was painted in gouache. I may try this style again for an original project some time in the future.

Thanks, that really means a lot to hear someone say that. Usually, when I try to do fan art, I always try to make sure it sticks with the lore, continuity, and character development so it can fit with the world of the series and be seen as canon (even if it isn't). With this piece especially, I tried to give off the same cold and intimidating feeling Peridot gave off when she first appeared in Warp Tour.

I agree with you that the last episode raised a lot of questions, but I wouldn't completely call it a cliffhanger since they won't bring the subject up for a while now. If anything, this was more of an arc episode since it was part of the main story plot in general
