Merry Christmas to all the Shadow Hearts fans and non-fans out there.

I don't know where the idea came from to have these characters perform a nativity play, but it was pretty spontaneous and, well ... seemed like a fun thing to draw.

So, who is supposed to be who and how what is my reason for choosing their specific roles?
Well ...

*MILD SPOILERS AHEAD*

Karin as Mary - I guess everything indicates that she is a great mother.
Keith as Joseph - I think he's good with children. He really had a few sweet scenes with Nina and Halley. So I guess he would like to play Baby Jesus' adoptive father.
Yuri, Joachim and Kurando as the three wise men - Yuri has made it quite the habit to stumble into weird and unusual situations already ... why not in this play, too? Either that or Koudelka told him in his head - which would have the advantage, that she also could remind him of what he was supposed to say, should he forget.
Joachim, I dunno, maybe he liked the idea to be among the people who prevent a child being slain by an evil king. (Though he is probably very unhappy that he can't face said king as a hero of justice.)
And Kurando was probably just too polite to turn down the part, when someone offered it.
Cornelia as Baby Jesus - Well, there aren't many SH characters that fit in a crib. And the only other ones I can think of are the creepy dolls ... Laura, Baal, the ones from the third game. Sure would have been funny, but the Doll House sidequests really freaked me out.
Alice as an angel - I don't think, this needs any explaining. And really, with her light spells, she could make some awesome light special effects above the stable. After all, there needs to be a star, too.

... I feel a bit crazy now.
