Description
My character Fiora, from one of my stories. She's a vampire who feeds on those who got lost in life. She seduces her her prey with compassion and promises of affection, then make them offer themselves to her so she can drink their blood. She doesn't leave any survivors. Her favourite place to hunt are big cities as it's easier to find humans who won't be missed if they disappear there...This is my entry for 's "Good vs Evil Contest". Of course, I'm submitting her as an evil character.

Love this city scene! The detail and perspective look like they would have taken a while - it pays off here! I also think the nighttime lighting works really well. You grow by leaps and bounds every time I drop by dA - keep being awesome

Thank you so much! The perspective and detail were indeed what took the longest, I needed a lot of pacience there. ^^ I haven't been drawing a lot lately, so when I do I feel like I should move out of my comfort zone and try to improve. I'm glad it shows.

Probably depends on your interpretation of vampires. In this case she doesn't feel the cold, at least not in a way that's uncomfortable. She's already undead, so it won't kill her and her body doesn't produce warmth, so she should be used to it anyway.

Well, she usually seeks out someone who is very lonely and suffering from unhappiness/grief/depression. She offers them compassion, company, a listening ear, a shoulder to cry on and a promise of love. But instead of using these things to help, she feeds into her victim's negative thoughts and weakens their desire to live. Then she slowly reveals her nature and the fact that her love comes at a price, while still maintaining that affection. And finally, she just waits for her victim's desire for her to become greater than their desire to live. She never bites someone who is unwilling. (At least not in the traditonal sense - I suppose you could say that being being manipulated and taken advantage of when you're at your lowest kinda counts as being unwilling.)
I think I was inspired by the siren archtype - someone who is so alluring that you can't resist, even though you know the terrible consequences of giving in.
