I love longhaired men, too! And I was so sad, when my RP partner told me, he'd lose his hair.
But on the bright side, they didn't cut off anything more important and his hair will grow back in time.

They did it to humiliate him.
Unfortunately he was the perfect scapegoat:
Filthy rich, leading a lifestyle not approved by the public, sorrounded by nasty rumors.
Well, at least the city guards stepped in to prevent worse ... but still.

I'm positive though, that I will get the chance to draw him again, once his hair has grown back.
