Wow... just experimenting? This is AMAZING!!!! the perspective was masterfully done- I don't usually go for watercolors but this swung my vote~

Well yes, the anatomy has some minor errors, because i was not drawing it from real life or from a picture. Insted I spend a few days watching and sketching real horses on a nearby horse racing track.
You could say I was lucky because they let me alone with these beautiful animals.

"say you're lucky"?? You are SO lucky!! I used to spend a lot of time with horses but lately I only see them from afar. That you had time enough to spend with them to make such an over-awe inspiring piece of art is... WOW~!!I love your work~!

well it was connected with a design that i was doing for the cup [link] so i was working on the design and i thought why not do a few sketches while I'm at it.

Envy~!!!!! did you post the other sketches too? I wanna see if they match up to the awesomeness of the horse piece~!

Unfortunately the sketches are now in a different country , but if I have time I'll do new ones, i have a track under my balcony this time... kinda lucky with horses; they follow me wherever I go, but I still haven't tried to ride one, shame on me

I wish I had luck like that- heck, I wish I had you skills. I never could get horses quite right... still there's nothing that comes close to the experience of riding a real horse so I guess that for now we're even.

haha lol, yea, u got me on this one. I don't know I did a lot of dumb and dangerous sports in the past and specially in the last year, but I always had a respect of riding horses. I always think what if I fall and break my wrist or another part of my arm. My carrier would be pretty much over :S. On the other hand I have done some really dumb and stupid stuff, so I have no idea why I always pass if I have the opportunity to get on a beck of a horse

okay, I get what you mean by that one. I fell off and I broke a few crucial bones. Believe me that WAS horrible. I couldn't draw for SO long it was like all of my ideas were clawing at me from the inside and I was a wreck until the cast came off. Even learning how to draw with my left hand wasn't enough! But it was still worth it in the long run even if it drove me absolutely crazy. I dunno if that scares you or not but being able to draw with both hands is quite amazing; you might want to try it even if you don't go through the experience of breaking bones in you drawing hand.

The idea sounds interesting, but disabling my right hand from doing my task would be kinda catastrophic for me . On the other hand drawing with both hands sounds interesting, specially because it emphasis on both parts of your brain, which we know girls are usually better (multitasking)

Believe me when I say that learning to do it is HIGH on the frustration but also believe me when I say that it's well worth it and anyone who can stick with it can learn. Even guys will admit it's pretty easy once their hands get through the motions~
