Lets pretend students 6th year onwards are allowed to help out at the Hospital Wing ok
cause I made Rapunzel’s career choice a Healer. Princess-schmincess, she can do what she wants. ‘Sides, she didn’t know she was a princess till 6th year and career choices are somewhat decided in 5th year, right?
Ahhh why did I standardize everything in their 7th year I wanted to draw Rapunzel’s long golden hair ;_; oh well.
2 down, 2 more to go.
PS: in case you ever wonder what badge it is she has pinned on her uniform, its the Head Girl badge. Jack has a Captain badge on his.

I have to disagree with putting Rapunzel in Ravenclaw and Hiccup in Hufflepuff. I think you got them mixed up.
I mean, it's your interpretation, but I always thought Hiccup was a clever one and Rapunzel more of the helpful, caring one.

A lot of Houses share qualities with other Houses. So just cause someone is clever doesn't mean they automatically have to be in Ravenclaw (Hermione). Rapunzel is clever, but she values learning, intelligence and wisdom. She has read all those books and charted stars and whatnot for fun (sure, she didn't have much else to do!) To value and appreciate knowledge and wisdom and apply it like that is a Ravenclaw quality. And as for Hiccup, he is a true Hufflepuff IMO! Hiccup is a leader, a team player, level headed, and always tries to find the best solution for everyone. He does not exclude anyone's needs and finds the most peaceful solution to problems. He is an overall great guy and a perfect leader. Contrary to popular opinion, I find that Hufflepuffs are the best leaders (Like Cedric Diggory and IMO, Captain America) as opposed to Gryffindors. While Gryffindors are known for their bravery and perseverance, I think their personal agendas might stop them from being the best leader they can be.
Of course, as I said before, all Houses share qualities with one another. But one way to think about the differences between the Houses is how that student would apply their magic. A Hufflepuff might use their magic to help people or animals or the environment (I can see Hiccup doing something to help dragons). A Ravenclaw might use theirs to study and develop ideas and apply those ideas (like medicine and other sciences). Slytherins and Gryffindors might vary will but their qualities can be generally more egocentric, I think.
I didn't type all this to ARGUE with you haha! Your opinion is absolutely fine. I just wanted to share mine with you as well! I'm a big HP fan and I enjoy talking about the Houses.

I didn't take it as an argument. Well, a reasoning, but not a violent thing.
I just keep going back to Hufflepuffs being "particularly good finders," and Rapunzel is good at finding things. She strikes me as less of a nerd and more of a "people-person," which would have made her tower confinement truly torturous. Hiccup tinkers a lot, and he and Fishlegs memorize dragon facts. Not to mention how he always tries to plan ahead whenever he has to fight.
Slytherin- ambitious; Gryffindor- loyal; Hufflepuff- social; and Ravenclaw- clever

I can imagine Rapunzel and Hiccup would be prefects once they got to fifth year but Jack and Merida would have stacked up way too many detentions to be prefects :3

that, and Jack is already Quidditch Captain anyway. Merida is too headstrong and impulsive to be a Prefect, and I think Astrid is a better Quidditch Captain tbh.

Ahh, its a giant crossover of How to Train Your Dragon, Rise of the Guardians, Tangled and Brave. Someone on Tumblr put all of them together in an AU, and the fans all agree that they're quite suitable together
Since then, multiple AUs have popped up just to accommodate them hehe.

Yes! That is my ship of choice- it makes perfect sense Jack is like Eugene sans facial hair and both are terribly isolated and need human connection.
Though I usually prefer the reborn as a spring/summer spirit so there is no immortal angst.
Which is why I love the Hogswarts AU.
