Description Made for the Literature Character Contest for

"Spartacus" by Howard Fast

The historical fiction of a slave/gladiator revolt against the Roman empire (71 B.C.). The reader knows the main character's doomed fate, but cheers for his battle nonetheless in this flashback tale. He led an army of slaves to undermine the idea of aristocratic society and he struggled to gain equality against a tyrannous and powerful foe.

**Modern views on Spartacus are so wack and wrong! - He was no hero ~flails~...but then again the ancient writers started putting pen to paper about the man himself a few centuries after the revolt had occured - - So maybe I should just shut up and leave <_< lol.

good concept and lighting, although it could have maybe been a touch brighter... did you try one with the whole sword in? it slightly bothers me that it is missing the tip, because the line of the sword tends to lead the eye towards its tip... or maybe more to the left, with your arms forming some lines

My prime wouldn't let me get the whole sword in with the small background I was using (It was a small black fleece blanket) and the sword is about 4.5 feet long. I really appreciate your comment. It is definitely stuff I will be thinking about for next shoot.
