If at some point that there is a desire to print it, it would be for display purposes only, and not commercial gain. This is what we did for our final in my intro to digital media class. The goal was to create a surreal underwater scene using elements not normally found underwater. We were supposed to pay special attention to the edges of objects and the overall design. My instructor also requests that we use the unsharp mask filter as our last step in producing these manipulations.

I know this idea has been done before, you don't need to tell me.

I'm very proud of how the mermaid turned out in the end, after two attempts of making a decent looking one, heh.

I'm request critique, because I'd like to know where I stand with photomanipulation and the overall composition.

Deep Sea, Deep space... what's the difference?
