Haha!I drew a pink squid for art homework... Kinda inspired off of Mindless Self Indulgence. Well I did all this in colored pencil. No computer editing. I am so proud of it :3 People would watch me draw it and ask if they could have it. Lulz.

Nice use of colored pencils. You did very well keeping things looking smooth.
Since you asked for critique, I would say that some blue shading on the squid would help bring this together a lot. Currently, the squid only appears to be sitting on top of a watery looking background instead of being in it.
Some overlapping elements would also help this image. It almost seems like you made it a point not to overlap anything. The fish in between the squid's tentacles down near the bottom and the purple and yellow areas of water are the most obvious examples of this. While it may be too late to do anything about those particular areas, you could try drawing some fish on a different sheet of paper, cut them out and then place them on top of your current image.

Yeah... he doesn't really look like he is there. -_-'. I didn't think of blue shading, but that is definitely a great idea.
Overlapping would of been something great. Only thing I was in a rush while making the background.
