wow. i was anorexic for a really long time... and now i'm 5 months pregnant... it's really freaking hard sometimes to let myself eat what i'm supposed to and gain the weight that i'm supposed to... for about a month when i started really gaining i cried and hated myself and the way i looked. i'm better now.
part of the problem with anorexia is that the media and popular culture tells us that to be attractive, to be of any value, women must be thin. it's very hard to recognize that as untrue and to let go of that belief.

Rant warning!
People who choose to make themselves anorexic disgust me. Seriously. I weigh in the upper 90's lower 100's on and off, not because I think I'm fat but because I'm actually sick.
Now, having a lot of experience with Doctors I have a pretty low opinion of them. Most are just to lazy to read the information on their fancy little laptops they carry around. Now I can understand some random person off the street giving me this, but when the Freaking DOCTOR gives me one [i]look[/i] and asks how much I freaking eat in a day i just want to find the nearest sharp object and let my Imagination guide me.
Also, on the teen pregnancy thing, they've been asking me in the clinic since I was freaking 10 if i was sexually active (every time! >:/ )
End Rant!
So yeah, this is really, really good. How do you make appeals for things to become daily Deviations?(goes to look that up.)

I definately agree with ya about doctors, they are kinda lazy and are know-it-alls! And I've heard sooo many stories of a doctor giving wrong diagnosis, etc to people, so ya... they ain't as smart as people think.

I literally started crying when I saw that picture and read the lyrics. I know both of those might not be able to happen at once to a single person (because anorexia causes infertility), but the picture is a PERFECT depiction of a lot of the teenage girls in society.
Rant: It's so sad about the mentality of adolescents and teenagers these days, it seems that life is all about rising to celebrity status. Girls just grow up too fast, and I've seriously heard of girls younger than ten who starve themselves and wear a ton of makeup and scanty clothes just because they idolize the wrong sort sof people. And then down in Venezuela there were girls as young as TWELVE who were pregnant and raising children...
It's just sad, and that picture and those lyrics are just so unbelievably powerful. Even how she's depicted-- she just looks so broken. It's kind of frightening knowing that kind of thing happens all the time... and I can certainly relate to one of those stories.
This honestly has to be one of your best works yet, if not the best.

YES. I'm not kidding about this-- we visited a clinic on our trip last January, and the doctor was telling us that girls were having sex as young as eleven years old. It's pretty bad in third-world countries, but that's not to say there's still a lot of awful stuff going on here, too.
I hope society changes, too. It's not the way it used to be.

I haven't heard the song, but the most disturbing thing about is it's not just a song; shit like this really happens all the time.
We, as a "civilized" society live in our little communities, sheltered by our little houses, and outside we cheerily greet our neighbours as we pass them by, mowing our lawns or *groan* shovelling endless heaps of that white shit ("snow" IS a 4-letter word! 
And now we have the internet in abundance, more and more all the time cluttered with superfluous CRAP spawned by people who can anonymously BE "anybody" they wanna be ... who's to say if all this technology is breeding a whole rabid bunch of sociopaths, eh?
NEway, as I've come to expect from you, the drawing is superb. I daresay that your work evokes more of an emotional reaction from me than anyone else i watch here on DeviantART; it's just so damned good!
