Hello boos and ghouls... I'm not sure if anyone of you has seen LEGEND(1985 fantasy film), directed by Ridley Scott of Blade Runner and Alien fame. Than again I'm sure that a great deal of you have. LEGEND...starring Tom cruies, Mia Sara, Tim Curry, Alice Playten, David Bennent and Billy barty. It wasn't a hit at the time it was released... it did received an Academy Award nomination, LEGEND end up having a cult following.

The Lord of Darkness wishes to kill the last unicorns so darkness falls on the world and he can come out from his cave where he is shielded from the lethal sunlight. It's a fantasy film set in a world of unicorns, fairies, goblins, demons, elfs and dwarves. I wont go into details about the film only leave up to you to see it. I think its a wonderful film with a little bit for everyone to enjoy.

This one took me a lot longer to draw. Only because I wanted to do my own spin on it. I also wanted to keep close to what's on film. I like the way it turn out in the end. coloring was not easy too... since there is a lot of dark colors and reds in it. Since darkness plays a large part of the film I had to add a great lot of detail to him. Well I hope that everyone enjoys this week art blog.
