So here is a little quickie (for me) photoshop drawing of Spidey. About 6 hours on PS and Intuous tablet.

An homage to the much maligned 1967 Spiderman cartoon. I set about redesigning ol' webhead's costume as more homemade and retro. Hence the sloppily sewn webbing pattern on the mask and gloves. I also noticed in the '67 show they never drew the web pattern on Spidey's chest (obviously cause it would've been a pain to animate) but here I wanted to justify that strangeness. So Spidey wears a customized old mathlete jacket that Peter owned (they give letterman's jackets for academics as well people). His spider goggles are actually a pair of his old coke bottle framed glasses cut in half, tilted, and with one way white mirrors in 'em.

Just in case anyone gets upset about this non-classic look keep in mind I figured this is Peter's first crude attempt at the costume we all know and love and that at one point he would switch over.
