Just finished the EDX course Drawing Nature, Science and Culture: Natural History Illustration 101 .For my final piece, i went with some paleo-reconstrution and drew the European Straight-tusked elephant (Palaeoloxodon antiquus) an extinct species of elephant that lived in Europe and Western Asia during the Pleistocene (781,000–50,000 years ago), reaching up to 4–4.2 metres (13.1–13.8 ft) in height, and an about 11.3–15 tonnes in weight. using the Eofauna model and African elephant skin (their closest living realitive) for refrence:
