For my gem.Thanks the DD. It blew me away! Thankyoou!!
A few have asked how I made this. Step + step.
1. Photo of rose +grid.
2. Paint on textured paper. Acrylics.
3. Inks and glazing.
4. Photos of tag
5. Scan of painting.
6. Dgitially painted areas again, matching the texture.
7. Cropped and place on photo of tag.
8. Used scans of paper to match texture.
This is traditional art + photography + digital art. I have blurred the boundries of these factions of art. In essence there shouldnt be factions at all, all art is mix media. Thanks

It took me forever to figure this out, but I think I have it now. Is it one of those awesome roses that go from orange to yellow? If I'm just pulling this out of my ear, please smack me. In either case, I love this style and the sheer magnetic color!! Five hundred and ninety-two thumbs up.

I'm seeing lots of things that aren't there. I see a woman arching her back, I see a whirlwind, I see a flower, I see a man with a hat ...the list continues. But yet it's a scribble, a beautiful scribble.

Okay, I have come to a decision; this is my all time favorite work of art on this site, and, well, ever. It looks like it has depth and it can be viewed as flat. The top, near where holefor the string is, looks like it's a rippling pond of fire. And I see a flaming tree and, yeah, I just wanted to let you know you've made my favorite picture ever.

A picture on a tag, eh? That's both cool and inspiring to me. When my stomach begins to hurt from looking at the top, I just look at the bottom and it settles down. The colors could have landed this under psychedelic and the shapes could have put it under abstract. But, the tag thing I guess is why it's miscellaneous. Bird feathers? Wheat? Centipedes? Damp, roken sticks of mulch? They could be anything. Good Job.

Now that is a tag with style
Your really, really good with action and color. The picture could be so many things a sunset pathway or tangle of vines in a deep blue stillness etc.
That was a great idea to paint on a tag.
