This is beautiful. I love the colors and the movement of the piece. It makes me think of a phoenix rising form the flames.

Where did the title come from? It actually reminds me of the Exodus of the Hebrews leaving Egypt with Moses because God showed the way with a pillar of fire at night. The bottom part in particular looks firey. Kinda cool

i love this. it's like...a painting. it reminds me of 'the wave' by hokusai. its like a wonderful blend of digital / surreal / paint. and the colors! ohmygod, the colors. don't even get me started. and the way the background looks like rice paper... unnnnh! EXCELLENT JOB. <3

98% of what I learned was just from practice and a LOT of trial and error.
I did notice improvements or refinements in my technique when I read a couple of the walkthroughs/tutorials on the program's website [link] . They are very basic but make things click at least to the technical aspects that produce more interesting shapes
