Description

MYO quest for Stygian-Shade because I have all the self-control of a person with very little self-control. I really like this idea for getting a MYO. You get to play around with everything a little and figure out what your future goals for your future Stygian may be.

So say hello to Gibbous Waning! The dumb fluff who tries and fails to be an eldritch horror!

1. Just a nice and simple Stygian. Bird tail, nothing unusual.

2. Added fluffy mane (zhey's keeping that), multiple eyes (zhey's DEFINITELY getting that asap), third eye (lol), and fin (not entirely sold on the fin.)

3. Serpent subspecies! I want that one.

4. Shadow wings. Not sold on these, either. Maybe I'll go for a familiar when the time comes. We'll see.

6. Little kingdom of horrors that isn't really so horrible! It looks kind of scrappy, so I'll add a bit of writing. *clears throat*

A sharp spire, stabbing at the sky, sieged by monstrous waves: that is the first thing you see. Above it looms eternally a waning gibbous moon, impossibly bright on an ever-overcast sky; rolling clouds threatening with thunderstorm do nothing to impair its purulence-yellow shine. The tip of the spire always seems to prod into it, no matter where you stand. The spire is set upon, or perhaps emerging from, a large rock platform rising from the sea, full of treacherous paths and cracks and tunnels reaching deep below the sea. Slabs of stone stand at impossible angles upon it, and more are floating nearby. The waves crashing forever into the rock do so with impossible slowness, as if drawing out the agony of bursting upon the harder element, shattering into foam like the soft opening of a flower. Gravity is a gamble here; it may direct you at any surface, albeit generally vaguely downwards.

Nothing here is what it seems.

The clouds never break into thunder. The waves are too slow to do harm. And the master of this kingdom? Well, zhey may be the only thing here true to its appearance.
