The camera body was $850.00...you can find them slightly cheaper now. I have a couple of lenses and they range from 200.00 to 900.00.

No, it certainly doesn't. The funny thing is, I usually pay no mind. If people think I look funny while shooting, oh well. As long as I get my shot.

Thanks to the fact that I shoot a lot of waterfalls. Which tend to attract people & cameras. I have talked to quite a few people while out shooting. I also use & carry lots of equipment. People assume that I am a professional photographer and have loads of questions. I've actually had people stand behind me and watch me shoot to see my technique and results.
