I got the bite to make another Homestar OC, and this idea was really fun in the end. XD

The Mage is basically a "wizard van airbrush painting" come to life. Originally the court mage for The King of Town's palace in her youth, back when The King was still The Prince, she eventually grew disillusioned of the palace. The ruling cases, the cases of her work, the fact the Prince started eating her thought-to-be-hidden snacks, the whole shebang. She ended up retiring and held a fairly strong grudge against the castle. Now, grown to near the King's age, she has mellowed out with age. Despite still having powerful magic skills, her personality can be described more as "hippie grandma". She makes "fancy trinkets" that she sells at her trailer stand (not many buy them) and gives off pseudo-intellectual knowledge. She tries to be kind to the new batch of servants in the castle whenever she runs into anyone by chance, but it's obvious she's trying to hold it together, especially towards the King. She also sees herself as a "mentor" to Marzipan's counterculture, but she personally think Marzipan's not taking her philosophy seriously, while Marzipan "never asked".
