Description Watched this young praying mantis slowly creep up on that cicada molt over the course of five minutes. Β Poor mantis seemed visibly dejected upon realizing that its stealthy efforts were in vain.

hahaha... I had a mantis try to attack me once while I was walking on a trail. I saw it creeping along, so I crouched down to look at it. The lil baby started near-sprint/crawling to me! Then it attacked my shoelaces... I wish I had recorded it.
