I actually have my own idea for Zurgβs backstory:
Zurg started out normal enough, but when his home planet was invaded, his son was killed, and the loss sent him into a downward spiral. During his descent into evil, he joined up with an illegal super-soldier project, using their resources to create an infant clone of his son. Though the clone was stable, Zurg realized the baby was not truly his son and rejected him. After the project was shut down, the baby ended up being adopted by the Lightyears. Meanwhile, Zurg replaced most of his body with machinery, becoming the villain weβre all familiar with.

well if i choose after they turn 18 their dad become evil emperor and has a maser which is mr lasky(which u havent watch star vs the forces of evil) and buzz brothers and sisters wondered what happened to their parents

mmm, maybe our Zeno could be slandered or betrayed by someone in high places or in Star Command, and turn the Alliance his back as a revenge, but sounds too similar to zorm's story
