*sigh* Part of this was supposed to be the background element of [link] , but Zurg's humongous ego couldn't abide with the idea of being a mere speck behind the heroes, and demanded more attention.

Almost done; needs some more shading, minor details, and cleaning-up. I'm planning to recycle at least the character to the upcoming TS gang pic, but probably will create a new background.

Dunno, listened to Silmarillion on audio during this plus oodles of dork metal like Blind Guardian's newest album (*_*). Suppose all that blather about epic dark lords fills your subconsciousness with certain over-bombastic impressions.
