Description The struggling seems to be continuing, much to Deathwatch's annoyance. She's getting so annoyed that she demands Steve to stop struggling, saying that he will fall. In response, Steve decides to show her that he's not the kind from backing down, as he decides to go in for a hit. I think it's safe to say that he broke free of Deathwatch's hold and decides to go for something quite lethal as his hand transforms. It seems that Deathwatch is surprised by this, what will happen next?

I love that panel with Steve unfurling his claws... I can never that right, but you've got skills on that!
(with a clawed thumb, naturally! )

Thanks, you're too kind. I had to work hard on getting the proper portions right.

Bit disappointed that you've gone for 'Steve is just too strong for anyone to beat' again here... There were more inventive ways for him to take on a telepath than just to have him be too powerful again. But nice art with the transformation and Deathwatch's surprise in the last panel.

I can see how that might be a bit of a concern, but think of it this way:

1) Steve has three factors going against one of Deathwatch's: strength, durability and stubbornness. If it wasn't for having those three, I don't think Steve would've lasted long.

2) From what I understand, the majority of Deathwatch's power is going into merging Earth and Otherworld, so she's fighting these individuals while pulling two planets together; which I imagine requires a lot of energy. So, I think Steve's not really facing Deathwatch's full power here. So if it truly was a 1v1 (without Deathwatch pulling planets together) I don't think Steve would fare that well....and I think that be an understatement.

So, there's skill, but Steve is also lucky, otherwise he would be a mangled corpse.
