Eddie Spaghetti Gluskin ('the Groom') from the horror video game OUTLAST - Whistleblower [<-- Link to trailer]
So.. yeah. I'm a big fan of horror movies and horror games. I started playing Outlast back in.. November, I think, and I enjoyed it a great deal. Whistleblower too, when it came out. Then I went on summer holidays with a bunch of friends and my obsession returned full-force and I had to make a fanart of.. this guy.
People who've played the game should require no further introduction to this guy. Eddie is.. quite memorable. For those who have no clue what I'm talking about, well, ehm... He's a mentally unstable, sadistic, mass-murderer who wants to.. marry the protagonist. After chopping off said protagonist's guy-bits and turning him into a lady. Boy is special.

My taste in favourite characters is slightly worrisome, I am quite aware of that. But hey, you can still like a character for what they are, without approving of what they do. I am quite aware that this guy is.. fuckedup. It's a guilty pleasure :'>

True, while his...erm..."hobbies" weren't exactly the cutest of things, his intentions were kind of adorable I preferred him to Trager anyway xD

Eerhh... if you mean his intention of finding 'true love' then yes; but I must say his methods and philosophy behind them were... severely twisted x'D But still, he's an excellent villain. Quite enjoyable
Ooohh, it's a tough one, but I think Trager is my fav, still. Something about creepy 'doctors' just works well for me, haha

Yeah, that's what I mean lol! Not sure I'd exactly agree with his choice of sticking Waylon in a locker while he mutilates a bunch of people...but y'know! XD (I always feel bad for the 'baddies' lol!)
Trager was kind of cool, but perhaps in some cases a little too persistent! I did like his cause of death though, rather tense and inventive!

Haha, I agree xD But yeah, that's just kind of a douche move, Eddie! Still, I'm kinda impressed by his.. effectiveness? Like seriously in less than 24 hours he 'redecorates' his own cave, strings up some 20 fellas and mutilate a whole lot more. Like.. damn. Boy must have been busy.

Trager was super annoying; without doubt I think he was the toughest antagonist. HE MOVES WAY TOO FAST, haha. I died like.. 10 times.
Eddie's part was really disturbing with the way you actually saw his turn to darkness, so to speak. I didn't notice on the first playthrough that he was the same dude who ran up to the window screaming for help right at the beginning when you're fixing the computer. Second playthrough was like WHAAAT ohshii...

Thinking about it now, they did look rather similar XD There's so much stuff in Outlast, I reckon if you delve really deep there's some pretty interesting lore hidden in it. Can't wait to see the sequel that's in development! (:

Oh, I know exactly what you mean. Either that or I just.. find their villain-ness so strangely intriguing. Plus, let's admit it, they're often more interesting and complec characters than the 'heroes', heh
Ah, so I'm not the only one who hadn't noticed at first! Heh, SURPRIIISE! I was.. so baffled when I discovered that. Also, he's the same guy you see on a screen a bit further into the game where he's being 'fed' something weird while he's trashing around with tubes in his mouth. A very disturbing scene, really :L
Heh yes indeed! Outlast has a lot of lore and fun-facts; I feel like I've only just scratched the surface of it all. Do you know that 'Dr. Trager' was one of the executives at the Murkoff Corporation before he became... insane? Like, for real one of the guys who started it all. That's disturbing knowledge too x'D

I think minus the facial injuries and the erm...sadism, Ed would be quite good looking, atleast that's what I think when I see your drawings! XD
though it does kinda scare me that there's fan fiction of him... o.o Maybe I'll go to the dark side of the outlast community and read one someday (as if the community wasn't dark enough all ready XD
Oh god! I remember that now, his poor eyes, they were so scared D: Nawhhh Mhm, I'd heard that before, like who the hell would employ Trager?! As a butcher maybe! XD
I'm very excited too...I'll be interested to see how the storyline plays out in connection to the first one o.o

Villains, villains... we have both been hit hard, it seems
Eddie is so amusing and an excellent villain, but while I do enjoy him immensely I'm always gonna keep in mind what a sick puppy he really is. Some people in the Outlast fandom completely overlook the fact that he is dangerously insane and just go full 'misunderstood cutie' on him. I once found a text post arguing that Eddie would make 'very excellent father material because he had broken the circle of violence' (Eddie himself was abused as a kid), and I sat there wondering like... did we even play the same game? Or did you not notice all the corpses?, haha.
Heh, quite! I think that's the reason why he got so popular in the first place; unlike most of the other variants who look.. well, fucked up, Eddie is actually a pretty dashing and well-dressed dude x'D And thank you! Maybe my.. inner fangirl was released a bit ^^'
Oh, Trager wasn't always so.. batshit crazy. He used to be a close friend of Jeremy Blaire and the two used to play golf together. Miles himself notes "I'd bet the rest of my fingers he was Murkoff brass before whatever's infected this place changed him." ^^

See, it concerns me that people would be willing to have kids with Ed or at least think he'd make a good dad....like...no XD His whole appearance was effectively him trying to buzzsaw Waylon's manhood off...that's not normal lmao! xD There are some villains that are definitely misunderstood, I guess Loki from Avengers/Thor would be a good example...but no, not Eddie, he's just a bit, err.... weird (understatement of the century! 
It's unfair that most villains usually have quite an appealing aura/body image...it does my mentality no good XD For example Michael Myers...I don't know what it is about him but he's so attractive lmao, maybe its the outfit XD
I don't think I'd ever go near Trager regardless of what he was up to, no doubt he'd probably try and bludgeon me with his golf club XD But seriously though, how the hell does one go from "normal dude" to "psychopathic murderous sadistic butcher in that time frame? o.o Maybe him and Chris had a little 'get together' or something x'D
I know that it's set in the same universe, but everything else is different c: Imagine if it was just like, "The Story of Eddie [Spaghetti]" describing his life from when he was young, to now o.o
I was just thinking about how much I liked Miles too...he had some kick in him, shame about his ending though ;-;

Heh, indeed! No offense to Eddie, but I wouldn't trust that guy with a pet rock, let alone a child x'D It's a classic example of fans completely overlooking the bad sides of their favourite character to make way for the 'poor misunderstood babe' trope ^^ (...of course, Eddie was a poor, miserable fella with his background story and all, but I wouldn't really stretch to call his actions, erhh, justified or anything...).
Oh yes, Loki is an excellent example of a villain who is misunderstood - I mean, for all his douchebaggery he actually had valid reasons for his actions. Hence why he's such an excellent villain! ^^

I think Trager was one of the victims of THE INCIDENT, and that's why he's so... fuckedup. Experimenting with the morphogenic engine backfired a little, so to speak ^^'
Ohh, that'd be interesting! I'd personally like to see that, and maybe for some of the other variants as well! Sort of a prequel to the first Outlast, with the experiments and such :3
Ah yes, it was such a shame with Miles! I was really rooting for that guy, and I was actually convinced he was going to make it RIGHT until the last two minutes or so... poor thing :C

You know, for such a innocent gesture like making a loveheart with your hands, for some reason seeing Eddie do it here makes me want to run for the hills. Speaks much about how deeply embedded his (dangerous) character is in my sub-consciousness! I agree with you though- as much as a sick puppy he was, can't help but be intrigued by him. And the charm he puts on. At a distance of course LOL.
