(in my Hiro story) He once was a Tony stark-ish guy... until he found out that by becoming that, he UNKNOWINGLY killed trillions of Hiros. simply, a BIG incident turned him from a Soldier-like guy who was the ruler of his own race, and a guy who loved classic rave music, into a Robotics inventor (and he was forced to get reborn as well... literally).
For Hiro's case, the moral of the story is: Never trust something with a demonic sounding voice from space to help you become a Robotics prodigy, because they will punish you and your brother, banish ya'll to earth, and destroy all you ever accomplished.
