Having mastered her last two rites, it was time for the hardest one. Peaches would have to confirm that, when needed, she could be a killer. For whatever reason, she was not disposed to any kind of violence, not even to killing prey animals such as deer. She would much likely be friends with them. However, being a Tokota meant hunting prey and helping to sustain the family. If a bad situation came, Peaches would have to hunt to eat. It was a necessary skill, a necessary evil. So, setting out with a hard resolve, both Tokota and handler rid themselves of anxious tickings, and readied themselves for what was ahead.

Feathers flapping in the calm breeze, Peaches scented the grass covered ground. No snow slowed their progress or masked the scents of prey. Quickly enough, she found the scent of a whole herd of deer and just as fast, she caught up with them. After running the herd for a while through a flat valley, Peaches picked out a young stag that looked beat up. It was late fall and rut had been in full swing. Being young, he had had very little chance at success, and it was obvious that another, older, more experienced buck, had defeated him in a battle. With gaping wounds, likely only to be exacerbated by his continued life, Peaches decided to put him out of her misery. Perhaps that would be best. So, speeding up, she cut him off from the herd and gave chase to him. It took some time to finally wear him down, but once she did, Peaches made sure to make the kill as quick and as gentle as she could. Then, panting over her fresh kill, she gave it a slight lick, cleaning the blood away, as if apologizing for her actions and thanking him for his life.  (310 Words)

It really is a crime that I have not commented on this yet because this is likely the most beautiful art of any of my tokotas that I have every gotten. I am so happy that this lovely girl is getting all the attention that she deserves and is getting such wonderful art from you! Her tack is PERFECT for her personality and the detail in the fur is, as always, phenomenal! The deer, ever detail, down to the deer is perfect. I like that it isn't just a snow covered field, but something different, the stream, the splash. Everything here is perfect Even Khalock here is perfect, everything together is just fantastic. I never get tired of your art, and I am so glad my characters and I have been privileged to receive some. I will get you the forms for these both very soon, I just have to write the stories, and Peaches should also be average very soon so you can use your breeding to her!
On another note, do you possible have higher resolution versions of these that I could have for my personal loving?

And I hope that you are feeling alright or feeling better. I know that life has been terribly cruel to you lately, and I haven't been near helpful enough or involved enough with trying to help you feel better, but  you are in my thoughts. Wishing you the best all the time, looking to the time when things shape into good events, and you are very very happy again. If you ever need a person to talk to, just nudge me, I'm around, and I can always take some time out of my business to talk to you!

I'm so glad you like it! She was an absolute joy to draw, and your handler was a lot of fun to draw too! I love when handlers and their tokos just look like they go together, and this is definitely a pairing that fits very well together (:

I also have a version saved without a watermark in the original PSD format, I will upload it on stash and send you the link!

And yes, I am feeling a lot better thank you, I am sort of used to dealing with it now, the past two or so years haven't been very kind to say the least, but I am trying very hard to get better. Life isn't always easy, and I try to keep telling myself that all this means is that a few really great years are coming haha.

Thank you so much for all your kind words, and being such a great friend
