Digital version of a sketch I posted a few weeks or months ago.I was going to make this image very simplistic but here's my first attempt at trying to do a detailed picture.
I was telling myself "If other can do very impressive pony images, why I can't do one?", so I tried to do one. I looked very carefully at some images to make mine to work at least with the shades and eyes, but I don't think ponyKillerX would use my cheap black lines for the outline.
I'll probably make another one in the future.
Took me around 8 hours to complete Photoshop CS4.

Something's wrong with her neck too. Looks like head connects directly to body. And ear looks weird with this 'hole'. Try to improve these.
These highlights in the eyes are really nice.
Oh yeah, and now it struck me... If you are going with a bit more realistic style (background and eyes looks like you tried it), add shadows, not only shading. Otherwise she'll still look flat.
But I would still advise to work on anatomy first. Probably lots of quick sketches is a good way to achieve that.
