The position of the pupil leads me to believe the person is facing a certain direction. However, the actually skin and whatnot around the eye tells me that this person is not facing any direction other than straight at the camera. It's a good picture, and you're good with pencils, but it's the little discrepencies that irritate me.

ooh, very nice, very nice indeed. just as a little critique, i find it makes for a more realistic light-glare to not outline the white portion. that may just be me, but it seems to make it look more natural. and also, the skin smudges on the outside, upper right of the eye could use a bit more definition, like the smudges below the eye.
i love how you even gave the eye veins! such attention to detail!

Wow, i have seen the shot of the eye in so many mediums and way too many drawn but damn, this is something that is interestingly such an obvious thing to draw for the 'eye' artists but funny enough i have never seen anyone do it... till now,
You captured the crazed feel of the eyes when we are in utter primal fear. Awesome job,
