Not a problem about that, both Mario and Sonic were fierce rivals at first in the 90's, but they do get along fine for a heroic plumber and a freedom fighting hedgehog.

Thanks a lot, man. It's always based on their actual rivalry games through 2 decades and a little bit based on Death Battle maybe. I always liked most about Mario and Sonic when I was young kid before.

Right. Though it depends on what types these two are, like Sonic for Speed and Mario for All-Around and their arsenals were evenly matched by simulation in DEATH BATTLE and it's true that Mario couldn't be able to keep up with Sonic's ability of superhuman speed. Though either win or lose, these two are the best in my book.

Right, and those effects were based with the mixed winds on Sonic and probably some sort of fiery aura from his pyro kinetic ability for Mario with a fire at his fist.
