Ever since I have been doing the scaling, plus not to forget about this amazing sketch which I did it by pencil first then with pen, I always wondered how tall these two icon characters and from Nintendo and SEGA. It has been stated that Sonic's height is 3'3", but where does it start since his quills gets in the way from his 3D model, and it stated that Mario's height is about 5'1" from the life-sized statue, but then with the picture of the pudgy plumber along with his creator, Shigeru Miyamoto (which he is standing 5'5"), Mario stands about 4'8". As the sketch shows above from how Sonic doing the hands gestures (along with the faded arm next to Mario), he is wonder how tall he is next to Mario, which he is wondering about that. Now to all the fans, who knows the most about the whimsical Italian plumber and the hyperactive Freedom fighting hedgehog, what are their profiles (aside knowing about Sonic's weight of course).Mario from Super Mario Bros. LoL, Sonic match the height of a shyguy xD! But in olympics games they put Sonic at the same height as Mario to not confuse nobody. (SORRY FOR MY BAD ENGLISH!!!")

T.T; I did say that once before and once again I'll say it, it's inconsistent all of the sudden over here with crossovers. U.U; The heights for the Sonic series isn't quite changed as I noticed about Sonic Generations, only Classic Sonic and Tails along with Eggman (though I think his height is between medium and large characters) were pretty much shorter than their modern counterparts. I think I'll quit with the size comparisons with the crossover due to the disproportionate size scaling. I even noticed that the Mario series were more warped with the sizes than being hallucinating from a bad mushroom as it disortinating the vision. It is so confusing, that it really gives my brain some cramps here, and that is the reason why I needed some others' theory or answers about their true measurements.

Both in all honesty. Retro realisticly is fatter. But for current I say metaphorically. I can't believe the current sonic eats that many chili dogs and has a fit body. Then again he runs alot. But still.

I don't know, I mean for Eggman's height is accurate for standing 6'1", I mean compared to Bowser, if scalled with the rest of the characters compared to the Super Mario characters, he would be ridiculously huge. Maybe The Nintendo characters were minimized or the SEGA characters are maximized, I need other's opinions about it if they had like a height chart to finalize and end this.

Yeah. So okay, Mario stands about 4'8" (cap on) next to Miyamoto standing 5'5", and Sonic is 3'3", which is like couple of inches shorter than Mario. Really, they are close equal from the crossover games.
