Possible design for the protagonist an original story I'm working on (might make it into my first webcomic! ^^ ) for some years, WIP title is 'Brand New Day'. A lot of the elements of this story was originally inspired by the original Dark Crystal, though it's been drifting and becoming more and more its own thing since then. The race this characeter belongs to is kind of the Gelfling equivalent, in being the main race of beings inhabiting a kingdom ruled by a smaller group of another race claiming to have been chosen by a higher power (al skeksis) but that's where their similarities stop.

Aabeh is a resourceful, cheeky individual, though has some internalised bitterness, who just wants the fine things in life. Unfortunately for her she doesn't really have the means to pursue such a life, and instead spends most of the time trying to hawk random goods for inflated prices.
