This is a Korean celebrities crossover with Avatar characters. Not a culturally/ethnically accurate portrayal.

This is what happens when an Avatar fan is also a kpop/kdrama fan. ^___^
It's been nearly half a year since my KpopKdrama crossover as Legend of Korra characters and I've been dying to do the AtLA series.
For this series, the characters will be released in order of their appearance in the show (except for zuko, he's my bias and will be reserved for the end).
KYOSHI WARRIOR SUKI!!!!!!!!!
I chose Wonder Girls' Sunye to be Suki.
Suki was a hard one to think of. One of the reasons was I never really paid attention to Suki besides shipping her with Sokka. I had to think about her personality and the only thing i could come up with was the fact she was a strong leader. No matter what hardships she and her team and the gaang went through, she would be the logical strength the team needed to pull through. So I looked up girlgroup leaders. Sunye kept popping up and I thought "hmm this can work". Sunye may not be as fierce as the other kpop leaders out there but she has been able to lead her team no matter what happens to them. Change of members, targeting the US market, getting married and now a mom, she can do it all just like Suki.
I went with keeping the traditional Kyoshi warrior outfit but of course, as i did with Amon, i had half her face with the makeup. I will admit the tassels were a bit tricky. After looking at a few cosplays, they dont look that bad.
Remember everyone, she said "I am a warrior, but I'm a girl too."
(p.s. and for the record, even though Bryke & Avatarwiki said the kyoshi makeup is based on Japanese Kabuki theater, i think they're more based on Chinese opera.

I also love the whole thought process behind who you picked. Suki is my favorite character, so it always makes me happy when people give her credit for the things she did. Yeah, they made have been small, but they played a big role in the end, and she did it with such grace that only a leader could. ... OK! She gives me massive amount of feels.
ANYWAY! I really love this. Suki looks beautiful, and I truly admire the thought and effort you put into this.

yea while looking up suki on deviantart and the rest of the internet world, i was surprised she didnt get as much love as katara or toph. even while submitting this to dA groups, tylee&mai had more folder features than suki. glad i could make ur day!

She does not, sadly, which sucks because she is so amazing. I think people are too blinded by shipping to enjoy a character.
