2. of the nature of or proceeding from whimsy, as thoughts or actions: Her writing showed whimsical notions of human behavior.
3. erratic; unpredictable: He was too whimsical with regard to his work.

Origin of word: 1650s, from whimsy. Related: Whimsically.

why that applies to my drawing:
- whimsical reminded me of what i wrote for my art history essay about the Rococo period.
- reminded me of "Swing" by Jean-Honore Fragonard [link]
- wanted to reproduce that painting but in zutara. sadly didn't have time or energy to do so
- used the same poses but made it into a beach scene.
- katara has some fun and bends the waves to crash over zuko
- whimsical fun, quite unpredictable.
