uh, not like the Mustang this is going to be a 67/68 Cougar btw. The recent variations of that name haven't really been worth messing with imo.

yeah thats the one he chose the rest of them we're just me messing about with different stripes for another client.

The details of the build are all from his signature.

what you been working on lately...?

i'm doing a Cougar that I'm not making any progress on. I actually never liked them because of the grille but I'm trying to force myself to think of ways to customize cars that I don't like that much. Like the Mustang I did, was to just force myself to take something I don't really like, for the sake of doing something different, and try to make it look good to me. Anyway, that's what this Cougar is gonna be too. I'm not changing a lot because I think they're just ugly enough to be cool in some way, but I still hate the grille so that is where the major changes are taking place. I've also got on this vintage TransAm kick and I think the Cougars ran in those races so it might also get a touch of that styling ... I dunno yet. It's another experimental project which seems to be my thing right now ... I'll get over it soon and get back to other stuff. To be honest I'm real fond of your multiple variations and I wanna do a few like that to see if I can stick with a car that I'm not in love with and come up with multiple ideas for it. Usually I get bored and move on before that happens, even when I have ideas in mind.

Tell me about it I am so tired of doing 67-69 Camaro's for clients I jump at a chance to do something different but then your creative juices seems to not be there when needed.

I am stuck right now on a 69 stingray vette I hate that damn car.Nothing i do seems to look right....

I have some many variations of each rendering its driving me crazy.

Well imo the 69 is the best body style post earlier generations (i say it like that because to me all vettes since have taken the most inspiration from the 69) ... at any rate, for that reason, i think they are frickin tough to modify. It's like, what do you do to a vette? If I was you (and this is because of my current TA kick) I'd make it look like a race car some how instead of purely a street machine. Maybe that'll free your mind a bit. It seems to be having that effect on me ... it's like, OK if it is a street car inspired in looks by a race car then anything goes. Make it crazy, just clean it up a bit and you're set. Then again, that might just be stupid ...
