While the magician is more dressed, [link] , I've always imagined a sorcerer to be more... lightweight. I don't know why but "Magician" sounds heavier to me.
This one isn't really wearing anything to protect himself and is probably that annoying guy who throws fireballs at you from a safe distance while the soldiers, [link] , are trying to beat you down with whatever weapon they are wielding at the moment.
