so I was talking about voltron right but the conversation took a turn for the bmc
and I was like “hey lmao what if keith’s squip looked like shiro :’) ”
and then following down that line, what if lance’s squip looked like keith
and following it even further, if lance were to be someone’s squip it would definitely be hunk
so yeah have lance as a squip
and even if you have no idea what the hell I’m talking about other than it’s something to do with lance, let’s just say this is him as a suave yet assholeish supercomputer that implants in your brain and tells you how to be cool but tends to destroy your sense of self-worth while doing so
either way he’s a snazzy boy

what if it's not just "what if so-and-so's squip looked like lance/keith/whatever"
what if it's literally Lance's consciousness uploaded into a squip form and programmed to act like a squip
but his memories of his human life are erased
so like his body's in suspended animation in some kind of mad science lab somewhere while his consciousness is busy being a semi-helpful dick to whichever member of the team ingested the squip pill that he was "in"
and the voltron crew is busy losing their shit trying to find their missing friend so it's all the more heartbreaking for whatever poor sap takes the squip pill only to find that it assumes the form of Lance
and they're like "can u nOT"
so squip-lance is just like "listen pal I'm just taking the form you'll be most receptive to that still fits my parameters of coolness" but in reality he's just uncomfortable with the idea of assuming a different form and he doesn't know why
and of course at some point his host calls him Lance on accident and he just flips the fuck out like "I am NOT your missing loser friend, and don't EVER call me that again" before shocking the living hell out of them
but so his freakout at that is mostly because of the programming overwriting his human sense of identity but also a lil self-loathing left over from his normal self so he ends up being really pissed off for a while because he can't figure out for the life of him why being called Lance bothers him so much but at the same time feels oddly normal???
