Pythagorasβs life is more interesting than life itself? Obviously I must look into this man. I never did so before because I have an irrepressible fear of triangle-obsessed individuals (All that angular thinking canβt be good for their mental health) and so have avoided him, his life and his theories like the plague. But if Steph says thatβs the one and only truth, I guess us sheep will have to believe it.

That's the wonderful part. There wasn't A Pythagoras, just LOT's of them. They all did maths and signed under the same name so really you have no idea which one of the Pythagoras' came up with the theorem.
They also tried to keep the number Pi a secret from the rest of the world, killing people they thought would expose it. They lived on an island by the way. I think it's fantastic.
Angles. Just think 'Some Old Hugs Can Appear Heavenly To Onlooking Angels. ' SOHCAHTOA. Yr 10 maths was actually genius.

Wow, that is the best story I've heard since my mother gave me "the talk." I loved that conversation. And just like "the talk" I can't figure out whether or not you're joking. I would go and research it, but I'd be too afraid that it isn't true. I think I'll just go on living my life under the impression that Pythagoras really was a cult. I doubt it shall have any bearing on the course of my life, though it would be rather nice if it did.

Thanks for the comment. I've got a ton of other stuff to put up, which I'll try to do tonight. I love your Red Right Hand picture (I love the song, too. I'm going to have to get some Bad Seeds albums). I've did a short book with water color pencils and I really enjoyed using them. I'd never used them before. Watercolor is kind of tricky, though. I'll put up the cover of the book I did in a little while. It's kind of cartoony and sloppy looking, which I wanted. The watercolor pencils were so fast and easy that I tried to do a more detailed picture with them and it turned out like crap. I need to practice more.
