It's because she'd rather not deal with somebody as stupid and petty as you. Grow up and learn to look from an outside perspective. And, here's an idea: listen to someone's argument as a whole, and think of a counter to the entire thing before you open your mouth. You're the massive pussy here, friend. Recently, I watched a video on Ruby Rose regarding her being a "bad protagonist". At first, I thought it was just one of those Anti-RWBY videos that I don't watch because negativity (hah) but this particular video kept showing up in my recommendations so I gave it a shot.

After watching the video, I came to the realization that "Yeah, Ruby's kind of a bad protagonist". The guy makes some rather valid points and I can't help but agree with the majority of them. Don't get me wrong, I still love Ruby Rose (she's adorable~), but looking back, I realize that Ruby doesn't get the proper development a 15-year-old (16 by V4) is supposed to get after 1) Seeing 2 of her closest friends die and 2) Watch a school and practically the kingdom fall by Grimm and villainous people. But she doesn't really change during the time skip. A part of me didn't want her to change tooΒ much. I want her to have hope and optimism, but I also wanted her to reflect on what has happened and for her to learn that everything isn't fun and games.

Dude, I coulda told you Ruby was a bad protagonist. Rooster Teeth has no idea how to handle its characters. Ruby's just one example of this.

Yeah, but I didn't look at analysis with RWBY (it's one of those series' where I can't sit still and watch without pausing and "geeking out") but now that I did, I'm realizing it.
Ruby is supposed to be the protagonist yet the "side-characters" get more development. T_T That's ALMOST like Zero getting more development than X (Though to be fair, X4 and X5 were setting up for Zero's series later), difference is X got the development he needed so I'm okay. lol
