Just thinking about getting watchers, most people watch the others here because of their art. Anyone with entry-level drawings don't get a lot of watches unless you interact with the others.
It's not like you are staying there and waiting people to notice you. It won't work. You need to make the action yourself, just like everyone else.
Also always ask for tips and such to know how could you make your art a bit better. :>

I try to ask for tips. I ran out of ideas for pictures though. Some people say "dont put your best things out because somone might steal it".

dA is full of inspirations. The search bar, the Today page, Daily Deviations, the Random buttons!!!, the main page, favorites, and best of all your friends here.
Asking for tips can be hard, often it requires you to give a comment to someone else (and even so a reply back is very often not guaranteed), so if all else fails you could study others' art and to learn and apply their ways in your creations.
Most important is to not to think too much. Just do it for a while, you'll get a lot of lucky accidents and you'll learn...
