Check out my first real (the reason I call it this, is because I have been playing with primitive 3d shapes before, but I don't consider that real animations) 3d animation made in 3ds Max: Animated hourglass

Thank you. Some one on another forum (3dhue.com) pointed out that the animation of the sand isn't synced properly, because sand disappears before appearing. They also said that I might want to make the particles smaller. Of course, I consider this constructive critique which is very useful to us newcomers in 3D.
