KuroNeko hated the cold. The singer had left her warm, comfortable apartment since she had been dreadfully bored for the past few hours, and she regretted it. She didn't expect it to be this cold. Hugging herself in an attempt to keep warm, KuroNeko thought that she should maybe return home. She didn't want to end up getting frostbite or anything. "I knew I should have stayed home today..."

It was cold, but not too much that it would eventually begin snowing. Well, it didn't really affect Michael anyways so he was alright. As much as he has spent most of his time outside, he really wanted to go back and visit where he once lived during his musical career. Unfortunately though since his departure from his home, everything had changed. So, he wasn't very eager to see what had happened, but he hoped it was something good.
Aside from all that, Michael was wandering quietly in the city, not really expecting anyone to take notice of him anyways. Well, he noticed someone not too far away to be for sure. "...?" He halted in his footsteps to see it was. And to his belief it happened to be KuroNeko. Suddenly, he felt a little sick inside, not that he didn't like her; but...he just suddenly felt the pang of him being deadly nervous.

KuroNeko brushed a strand of blonde hair out of her eyes, a doubtful expression crossing onto her facial features. "Hm..." She bit the inside of her cheek as she looked around, noticing that there wasn't really anyone around. She found this to be a little strange, since the city was usually bustling with tourists.
It wasn't long after until KuroNeko felt somewhat uneasy. She wasn't sure why, either, but it felt like the air around her had somehow changed. "..." Looking around silently, she frowned. Nothing appeared out of the ordinary to her.

The nerve crept into his chest, that he immediately reached out and placed his hand atop the said area. It was like his heart was beating uncontrollably, it was only...that he hadn't really spoken to her in a while. He actually really wanted someone like her to talk to, but since he lived he had been rather busy we could say. Then, well he didn't want to explain his whole situation anyways, because it only aroused pain to not only the others but even himself whenever he talked about it. Michael noticed the attitude on the singer, and knew she was among his presence.
Should he go ahead and talk to her, he hadn't the faintest idea. But then, being like this was worse than his habit of being shy because he now hardly talked to anyone. Probably he should, though he wasn't sure since he likely wouldn't be seen anyways. Sighing, he continued his merry way until he approached KuroNeko. Something was about to escape out of his lips, but he ceased it from leaving.

KuroNeko bit her bottom lip. She didn't really like this, honestly. Strange things didn't happen to her very often, but when they did, it scared her a little. She began to wonder if someone actually was around, and they were just stalking her. Hopefully it wasn't for any bad reasons.
"I-Is someone around...?" The blonde tucked her hands into her coat pockets, glancing around timidly. She was still unaware of Michael's prescense, for she couldn't even see him. Though, if she had, she probably would've been more frightened.

He could see from her attitude that she was clearly afraid, but someone like him wouldn't even dare to do harm. It would probably be better if he had been seen than just heard only, because hearing his voice alone would probably be only be a little uncomfortable because you'd not know where it's coming from. Luckily, a tree just a bit to the left that gave some dark shade would probably be enough to project his vague image. Michael sighed and folded his hands tightly, trying to force away his fear.
Stepping back, but not too far, he narrowed his eyes before finally letting his voice out. "KuroNeko..." he called out very gently, but in an audible tone, seeing if she would probably see him. If not, then probably she only heard him then.

KuroNeko's brown eyes widened a bit at the sound of the faint voice. Did it...just say her name? Her heart began to race a bit from her nervousness, and she shakily placed both hands on her chest to calm herself. "I-I don't like this..." She murmured softly, looking to where she guessed the voice had come from.
"W-Who's there...?" It might have been smart for her to run away and return home, but she didn't. She stood right where she was and decided to deal with whoever was playing these 'shenanigans' on her.

Michael frowned a little at this, narrowing his head lightly. It wasn't enough for her to notice, maybe he just told her that it was him then all the confusion would settle down. Well, maybe not really, but he'll have to just see about that anyways. He straightened his posture, sighing at the sight of her panicking.
"Uhm, it's me.." he began a little nervously. "Michael." he said once, hoping she'd already recognize his name.

KuroNeko blinked a few times, silent. "...Michael?" She muttered quietly, looking around confused. Where was his voice coming from? She wasn't imagining it, was she?

He leaned against the tree, crossing his arms and kicking his right leg right behind the opposite for a more comfortable posture. The moment she recognized him, he lifted his head up lightly to look at her. "I'm right in front of you.." he stated calmly, hoping his translucent image wasn't too vague under the shade that she didn't see him.

KuroNeko stared at where he as standing for a moment. "...Why is it so hard to see you?" After a few seconds, she had finally recognized him, but it was difficult to see him clearly.

Michael frowned lightly, cocking his head slightly to the left. "...Well, it was four years ago." he replied, stopping there only. Four years ago was the year he had passed away. And in all of honesty, he didn't want to talk about it much, because really it would not only hurt him but even the friends he had made. Everything pretty much changed after that. He hoped the only phrase he implied would make the other understand, Michael didn't enjoy going further into detail.

KuroNeko bit her upper lip, scratching the side of her head in an awkward manner. She was silent for a little before she realized what he meant. "Oh...I see," Now she understood why he was transparent, and acting somewhat strange.

"I know..." he replied a little monotonously, setting his hands then to his sides. He hoped KuroNeko wasn't too upset, because Michael just hated seeing friends that were unhappy. "Sorry, I just needed someone to talk to. And I honestly haven't been doing that in a long while." he explained briefly with a sigh.

KuroNeko clasped her hands together lightly, letting her arms rest close to her sides. She wasn't too upset, honestly, but she did hide her slight sadness quite well. "Its okay. You don't have to apologize..."

Well this was quite unfortunate. Poor Rin and Len managed to get caught in a sudden downpour during their nightly prowling. The two ran down the street, rain quickly soaking through their clothes and making their hair stick to their faces. They really needed to find shelter fast. After all, they were starting to get rather cold, and shifting back to their regular cat form would not be very helpful until they managed to get out of the rain. Ugh... This was awful. But, finally, a light appeared in the form of a house with a rather friendly aura. Something about it just called out to them, and they ran for it. Hm... Maybe the owner would let them in. Though... Cats are more likely to get shelter than humans from random strangers, so... Cats they would be. As quickly as possible, they headed for the door, stopping before it and shrinking back down to the familiar black furred cats before meowing loudly, shivering and shaking from the cold.

KuroNeko had been cooped up inside her house nearly all day, since she didn't really have anything better to do. She had a day off from work, so that was a good thing for her. Unfortunately, most of her co-workers, who were her friends, had to work today; leaving her to spend the day all by herself. She was sitting down on her couch, reading a book when she happened to hear a small noise from outside. It sounded like two kittens meowing. KuroNeko rose an eyebrow, closing her book and setting it down next to her before she sat up and walked towards the door. She opened it slowly, seeing no one at first, then looked downwards. "Eh...?" The blonde blinked at the sight of two two black cats who were sitting on her front porch. Had they been abandoned here? She wasn't sure. KuroNeko bent forward and picked up the two cats in each hand, smiling a bit. "Don't worry. You'll be safe soon..." She assured them, walking back inside the house and closing the door with her foot.
