The blonde composer abruptly ceased his faint singing before blinking once in surprise at the ring of his doorbell (which was a G#, he noted, but ah, he digressed). Nearly leaping off the piano bench he was seated at, he felt sheer excitement to see what rare guest would visit his home, particularly at time so close to Christmas. And at such a chillingly lonely time as well; with nobody to keep him company, he kept himself busy for the past week or so composing festive carols that he seemed to enjoy just singing to himself when there was lack of an audience. Regardless, he wondered momentarily at the childish possibility of presents, though soon, he cast his selfishness aside to put on a more professional demeanor. After all, this was a time of giving, rather than receiving.
Clearing his throat, the musician opened the door to be greeted by both a familiar brunette and a gust of cool wind. Smiling the slightest, he held the door wider for the unexpected guest.
"Ah, Guten Abend, whateveryournameis Herr.Leonhard! Please, come in; I only imagine it is freezing outside!" He heartily spoke as he invited the other inside.
