Hey there! Nice models! Can I ask you a question? I've seen your REX and I really want to make a 1/300 REX for BattleTech... Can you guide or help me a bit with it? I really am a novice on scratchbuilding. I've done some 1/2400 starships but simple designs nothing complicated :/ Anyways thanks and seriosly, very good job on every model!

I think the best advice I can give is to plan every step of the build, and put everything on paper. I see you have the Kotobukiya Rex, the 1st step is taking down measurements & doing the math, or scale down the paint guide drawings in the manual to the proper size & trace it on your material. the rest is pretty much cutting, sanding, etc. a Vernier Caliper is very helpful when scaling things up/down.

Yeah, I though on measuring the 1/100 to 1/300... But I dont know, REX is kinda hard to do.

Thanks, I'll try my best. If I'm not able maybe I'll go through 3D printing but I prefer a scratchbuild. Do you keep building things and uploading here? I like your stuff a lot, you are a good inspiration to scratchbuilders!

don't get intimidated by the complex design, start with the basic shapes, then work your way up to the details. give it your best shot!
