Definitely. I'm my own worst critic. I never think my writing is as good as people tell me it is. I put it up hoping for some feedback and criticism and all I ever get is how amazing it is. Then I feel stupid. xD

Im the same way half my stuff is kinda sad but its how i feel and i dont write good unless its what im feeling and i figured people would hate the sad mood but it turns out a lot of people relate

*nods* Indeed. All of my stuff was very dark, very angry, very depressing. But it was how I felt and for the longest time after I had my daughter, I couldn't write. I was too happy and I couldn't put the words to paper. I'm finally coming out of that funk and getting my mojo back, but it's still weird to me. Not quite used to this new style of writing just yet. Haha.

But it's good to write things people can relate to. They might find comfort in it, or even a piece of advice or something to live by. I know I did when I was younger. I love literature because I found comfort in it, I related to it, and I used it to get me through my toughest times.
