No, if it is blatantly negative, it is hate. Criticism requires there to be 1 part postive feedback, 1 part negative. What I usually see is nothing but hate such as "Lol, ths iz stpid" (Yes, half the time they have atrocious spelling) and stuff like that. Not saying what is right and wrong with it. I am fine with criticism, or at least constructive criticism, but I will not stand bullying/blatant hate/badgering. It is also up to the artist if they want to change it, if they don't want to, you back off. It is, in the end, the artists choice.

Not anymore, plus the people don't see THAT they see all the hate comments in the comments. I don't think you get that a whole herd usually goes and starts bullying/hating on the OC's put there, as if it is their right to make the person feel like shit for making a 'shit' OC, when they are usually very good.

That doesn't give them a right to bully and harass!! And YOU may not think Recolors are 'original' and that they're 'lazy' but not everyone does. Not everyone hates black and red, and neon, or Alicorns! Alicorns do not make a 'bad' OC! Recolors/bases are usually used for those who can't actually draw well, and wants something that looks professional/good/better than they can do! And DA allows Vectors and Bases, which is what most people use for this, and they always credit where it came from. Neon is not bad either. Used to much, maybe, but just cause something has neon doesn't mean it is bad. Just like because a pony has black and/or red, that does not make it shit either. Black and red is a popular combination EVERYWHERE because they looks so awesome together! An Alicorn can make a great OC, or maybe they just made it for FUN because Alicorns look awesome and elegant! Look, I can see I'm going to get nowhere with you, you're not going to change my mind. I will do what I want, and I feel that most ponies that go on Terrible Ponies aren't actually terrible at all! If you don't, whatever, it is called an opinion, and if everyone had the same opinion the world would be boring. Plus an character wouldn't be 'original' if they followed the 'guidelines' on Terrible Ponies! They would all look generic and boring!

I'm not saying If your Β oc is black people will hate it, its just that all the neon Ocs ( well like 80% of them at least are ) are black, why because that suits neon doesn't it? Β Other colours suit neon as well. That is okay right? And its not like DA allows only Bases and Vectors, if thats what other people think. I Β like this OcΒ mileniumspiritsarana.deviantarβ¦ It looks like rainbow dash (but taller ) but it is in different colour and guess what the artist put time in it! I think that some Alicorn Ocs are okay, most of them are mary sues saying that they are the ruler of a castle, they made the elements of harmony. To them take the mary sue test will ya?Β

*sigh* I usually check for Mary Sueness within my own opinion, but sometimes there is no backstory, and therefore I can't decided so I leave it, or the backstory is pretty good. And you do realize that one of the things Terrible Ponies hate is Alicorns that are not princesses. I find that annoying, cause they don't have to be.... Anyways, can we resolve this now... I'm sick of arguing with people -.-'

Hey, I really like what you're doing about the people who get art posted on terribleponies, I actually try to leave positive comments for people on there too. But I think you should really leave out the part that they're on terribleponies if they've already been notified or if no one is leaving bad comments. People will probably get annoyed by multiple people telling them or if there aren't any bad comments at all why ruins their day by telling them? But otherwise, I really like what you're doing leaving positive comments ^^

Thanks. I usually check to make sure no one else has commented on them being on it, but I feel they deserve to know they are, in case they get backlash from it later. It's more to prepare them than anything~ But I always try to follow up with positive comments, and if they do feel bad explain a lot of GOOD artists get on it, and that they shouldn't feel bad.
