I used to make models as well but kinda stopped because I started to run out of space (and money tbh, broke student being broke xD)

god i know, space is really becoming an issue for me(time to get rid of some) and yea the hobby can really eat away at your wallet. especially with all the tools,paint and glue.

one of the last models I made, a lancaster: [link] (coincidentally also one of the first which I did with an rather historical accurate paint job)it's generally quite OK, but it's rather easy to see I applied a colour at a time, and not with a base layer followed by the other colours

the lancaster is by far one of my favourite WWII planes, and pretty much the only heavy bomber I like xD

Awesome. I was briefly looking at Tamiya's 1/16 R/C Leo 2A6, but didn't feel like footing 1100 bucks for it, haha. One day. My father just finished a 1/25 Tiger I last summer, though, and I saw a 1/25 centurion III that I was interested in. Some day, maybe.

this model was roughly €150,- IIRC, got it for my 17th birthday as present from pretty much my entire family

it's not insanely high-end or something (not metal but hard plastic components with metal driveshafts I think)
fully functional suspension, turret/gun control though. it also shoots cute little shells (~3cm) with a spring system
