...Yet liberated by the anticipation for what is yet to come
In a blanket of thick sheets and porcelain streets
I find peace in my reminiscence of innocence,
Riddled by the chords of a mother.
And as such, an estranged child had learnt to foster its
Wrath in a bid to congeal the thrills of uncertainty.
A blanket of white spreads across dull grounds
As a honeydew froth melts away
Reciprocating the pleasures of internal belonging
I find a narrow path fraying from dismay.
A love, a sentient of enigmatic compassion
Brimmed the very passages of my veins
Salvaging the radiance of the crackling flames
Dwindling the enmity that remains.
