do you use lathe or drill press to making pipes?
i would like make my first pipe, but i haven't lathe, only drill press.

I tend to use my artistic judgement, though i recommend a lathe to beginners since it's steadier, plus you can us the chuck to mount buffing wheels as well. Saves alot of cash. Cheers!

How remarkably good humoured of you. I have never thought much about pipes until I came across this site.... how intriguing that there are still pipe fetishists. I always presumed that the pipe obsessions belonged in the past, with fascist headmasters who continue being called "Colonel" long after the end of the war. But I am proven wrong in my rude stereotypes, and beg your pardon. I wish I could see a picture of you smoking in a public place though, I hope you do it whilst playing chess in the park.
Hmmm I've considered the issue and come to the unfortunate conclusion that I do not suit pipes. Unless they are made out of some lovely fairy substance, and you can smoke some sort of lovely mind-altering drug extracted from buttercups. I should make a commission.
