bonjour!
i don't have exams because i can't handle science subjects. i get all itchy and sweaty and so aware that i have blood in my body and that the ants i kill are people too.
but i do have murderous sacs that nobody reminds me about until the night before.
i do have one addictive habit -- crumpets. it's all i think about on the train ride home -- licking the butter off the plate, chewing the spongy bits first and nibbling at the crispy base. and then i fall asleep in the sunshine. it's the best past time.

that is fabulous. i like to play up to people's worst ideas about me - if i know someone considers me a stuck-up black-beret poet, i do the best i can to please them.
i think i'm in year 12 because i started when i was four. it's disconcerting, seeing all these people driving to school in their red cars. i can't even imagine myself driving.

Ahhhh I know the feeling. A few days ago, when my hair was a brighter shade of blonde, it was quite a source of amusement for me to frequently go to parties where nobody knew me and ask very ridiculous questions ("Is the moon bigger than the earth?"). Though the really fun part is when I see the people I've given my blondest impression to on subsequent occasions and rephrase all my sentences so that I speak in nothing but the very longest words I own.
The most annoying part about being young is the whole ID business. Not that I'm that desperate to get into clubs, but I do like little bars and pubs, and unless I'm with uni people or have put ludicrous efforts into looking old, my position in those is compramised.

Thank you for your insightful comments on my beloved hobby. Yes, we are out there, us pipe fetishists are few and far between. I can honestly say, however, that my life has been greatly enhanced by the art, and those I have met who share the same hobby have a special sort of connection to those great thinkers of the past. I hate to tread on your dreams, but unfortunately there are no acceptable parks in the middle of this hellhole in which I live. No, I usually smoke my pipe while rolling down main street in a wheel chair, with the stars and bars flowing galliantly behind me, attached to the handle bars by means of a pole and some string. And hearing the citizens acknowledge me by "Colonel" as you so passionately spoke against is like music to my ears. But I will not waste time in worrying about such petty differences, as you yourself said that you might want to commission me for a pipe. Well, I say when you are ready and able for an heirloom which you will treasure for years to come, please do contact me, by email or any means you see appropriate or fit for the occasion. It's much too cold to do anything of the kind. How can you even contemplate going out in weather like this? I find it almost an insufferable pain to move from one heating duct to the other, and no number of electrically heated fur coats and hip flasks of brandy could convince me to leave unless it was a case of dire neccessity. The only thing that can be said for these cold grey days is that they let you savour things--- hot chocolates, your bed and a healthy bad mood. As of yesterday afternoon, I have entered a state of official hibernation that I may never come out of. I suggest that you go to st jeromes avec David-- lovers are at their most useful in the cold.

Baby cakes i spent the day homeworking it up too. The only people ive seen this whole week are david and lindsay AND i havent gone out to a party ONCE these WHOLE holidays. HAHAHHAHAHAH and do you know what? Im looooving it!

OUi he invited me... But the pressure of dressing up as a nationality is really much too much. I could also be somewhere interesting on Brunswick Street-- up the stairs behind a souvlaki joint, something to do with jazz and poetry as described to me by the artist. But my mother has me babysitting; everyone's at the athletics. My head hurts.

If you're worried about being linked to the crime, wear gloves and carry a plastic bag with you. if you see a security guard or a police officer, put all your wheat pasting supplies in the bag. to make it even less suspicious wear some nice light-colored clothing (so that the wheat paste doesn't show up on it) and carry a Gap shopping bag. Play it off.

I think your art teacher is a more appropriate shrine of worship than Mr. Simpson ever was. I have to admit, I am not enchanted by him at all... Then again, Biology is not my area. I hate that scooby doo tie he always wears-- I think Mr. Mac is the best teacher in the Biology department (partially because he likes me despite my lack of scholarly aptitude), and though she is delightfully good humoured, Ms. Morgan is the worst.
Star gazing sounds wonderful.... I slept on my trampoline last Saturday night, and watched the night sky listening to Diana Krall. Emily, I should be writing my world lit right now... you've made me feel like going and eating butter and sugar mixed together. Yum.
